Community Day 2025

On yesterday, the Pathway ministry here are Heart of Christ went over to Livingstone Apostolic in Akron, OH to participate in their Community Day. This day was a great opportunity for children to get school supplies, haircuts, and more. Parents could also get information on health, housing, transportation. Overall, it was a day to lift up and build up the community and the Heart of Christ Ministries did our part!

We handed out information about the church, food pantry, move group, and outreach ministry. And our own First Lady Tonya L. Higginbottom did face painting for the children.

Our own Elder DeShania Mitchell-Powell set up a prayer tent where guests could get prayer, write down prayer requests, and be encouraged.

And our Brother Larry Mitchell participated by making custom sodas for the kids and their parents. Thank you so much to Sis. Leeann, Sis. Glenda, Sis. Terri Lynn, Sis. Glenda, Bro. Donald, Sis. Katrina, Deaconess Carnell, and Deaconess Rose for stepping up and running to do the work of the Lord!
