Community Day 2026

This past Saturday, we partnered with Livingstone Apostolic Church in Akron for their annual Community Day and we had a ball. Even better is the fact that Jesus showed up!

Not only was Heart of Christ playing games with the children but First Lady did some face painting. Bro. Larry Mitchell handed out chips and Sis Terri Golden was doing so much that she probably needed a nap!

Besides showing up as a church some members had their own booths to give out things for the children. Kids got toys, dental hygiene products, hot food, hair cuts, books, and most importantly school supplies and prayer. All for free! This is what it means when we say we live by our mission to show the Heart of Christ.

Thank God for showing up and we are still praying for those who showed up that they would want to know the Lord on a personal level.
